This is where the guy let us off the second day, after we left the German beach. Middle of the jungle. Little did we know what was waiting for us just down the road..."lonely beach!"
It's weird, if I were looking at this photo 6 months ago I swear I would have been thinking about all the dangers here..."snakes, spiders, hobos out in the bush, bad dudes with knives." But nothing could have been further from the truth. It's like this whole country...not that bad...not that scarry. Two months into this trip and I've not had one problem.
